prescriptions purple This is the REPEAT prescribing service - if you have new problem that may require medication you must use eConsult or call us to arrange a telephone consultation.

Patients on regular medication will be given repeat prescriptions through the EPS (Electronic Prescribing Service) system.  Please ensure that we hold your nominated pharmacy to whom the prescription will be sent. In line with other surgeries requests for repeat medication are not taken over the telephone as errors can occur in verbal communications.

Allow 2 working days for your prescription to be processed. There are 4 ways to do so

A.  The simplest way to request your repeat prescription is by downloading and using the NHS App.

B.  You can also request your repeat medication online through EMIS Patient Services. You will need to register but you will then have access to repeat medication ordering and online appointment booking.

C.  You can also request your repeat medication by emailing fgccg.buryroadsurgery-scripts@nhs.net   PLEASE NOTE:  THIS IS FOR PRESCRIPTIONS ONLY, ANY OTHER ENQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACTIONED - Please use the Contact Us page for any other enquiries

D.  Tick the items you require on the repeat slip (these can be supplied by your pharmacy), and submit to the Practice by hand or post.

NB If your doctor alters the dosage of your medication, please ensure that you understand the reasons for this change. If you have any queries please speak to your doctor.
