TO ALL OUR PATIENTS

COVID Safety arrangements within the Surgery

Medical settings are a higher risk environment and will need to be subject to more control measures than other public facilities.

We are acting very cautiously and are maintaining:

  • Social distancing
  • Face coverings
  • PPE for healthcare staff

The Omricon variant is very transmissible and patients may come to the surgery when they are contagious.

It is our duty to do all we can to keep both our patients and our staff safe whilst we deliver our care.

Thank you

Prescriptions

If you do not have on-line access for prescription requests, please download the NHS App. Alternatively you can email us at fgccg.buryroadsurgery-scripts@nhs.net

Prescriptions will be sent to a Nominated Pharmacy, please contact the Practice by telephone if you have not Nominated a Pharmacy.

eConsults

ECONSULTS WILL BE UNAVAILABLE OVER THE WEEKEND AND BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6.30PM TO 6.30AM

We will be switching eConsults off every weekend and weekday evening, while the surgery is closed. You will be unable to send an eConsult from 6.30pm on a Friday until 12.01am on a Monday morning and from 6.30pm until 6.30am on weekdays.

This is to ensure that our patients seek more appropriate healthcare whilst we are closed.

You can use the eConsult facility to look up general medical advice. You can also get advice from the NHS website or the NHS App. Your local Pharmacist can help you with self-care.

If your medical problem cannot wait until the surgery is open please visit the NHS111 website or call NHS111.
